PLYMOUTH ... Also in Plymouth, on Saturday afternoon, January 17, 1885, of heart disease, Abram W. Deveny, in his 60th. year. Mr. Deveny's death was not entirely unexpected, as he has suffered with a disease of the heart, more or less, for a good many years. He emigrated to this State from Pennsylvania, in the year 1837, and for nearly half a century has traveled the highways of this and adjoining counties, in pursuit of his favorite vocation -- that of dealing in horses. He was an excellent Judge of a horse, and very rarely made a poor bargain. Few men were more widely known, or more generally liked. He leaves a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn his loss.
